Sorry, I don’t agree with this^ and not many suspension designers would either.
3crispies has drop spindles so no need to try to fit the ARB upside down; my heavy duty bar with 2½” drop spindles has never grounded.

  2. When this was originally posted it would have been useful to have mentioned it had been lowered and had no anti roll bar. Does it have a steering damper?

  3. Point taken steering damper fitted and appears ok. How can you test other that push- release. Also going to refit Arb but looking around can you get better bushes for standard Arb. Can Arb be reshaped so don't hang so low cos these fen roads are bumpy.....

As others have already said tyre pressure is a big thing if all else is well. I find when loaded up increase the rears but decrease the fronts. And when loading the van try and get some weight over the front which is easier said than done !

  5. Not that im aware of but uprated arbs are common although, in my experience if you fit hd front arb without fitting a rear and youve got uprated shocks then your front tyres will get tested as it tries to go straighter than youd like in some corners.

Mine isnt lowered and i was kind of happy with the set up as above but finally got around to fitting the rear. It made and immediately noticeable and significant difference. Mines a bit of an ice cream van as its got a heavy and high roof and i went from taking corners like i was on a motorcycle, ie leaning in cos of the roll to sliding across the seat. Will put some better tyres on when i have some spare readies and ive got some uprated shocks i was given by busmonkey to stick on the rears as currently they are standard oils.
