Steering pin has now been replaced thanks to Paradox for pointing out the excessive play.
Its vastly improved the play and now i move the steering wheel and the wheels actually move straight away.
However on when driving in a straight line im still correcting the steering all the time despite taking out the slack following Snotty's guide.
Disconnected drag link rotating steering left to right to find centre
    Then rotating 180 degrees
Grab arm clicking undo lock nut screw in adjustable screw whilst rocking arm until clicking stops.
Then tighten lock nut whilst holding scew.
But she still wanders in a straight line [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Have you had the camber and tracking set up yet?

I did have the tracking done about a month ago
But then changed the tie rods.
When i replaced the tie rods i did make sure a adjusted them to exactly the same length as the ones i took off.
But yes a good suggestion Dubs as the camber has never been done and it won't hurt to get the tracking redone

The camber angle and tracking needs to be set so that the front wheels are basically trying to drive towards each other slightly. Otherwise its a bit unstable.
If you have a smartphone and a clinometer app and a straightedge you can measure and set the camber DIY, provided you can persuade the camber sleeve above the top ball joint to turn.

Also have you checked the inner and outer rubber donuts on the rear suspension torsion bars?
If these are hard and a bit worn, the rear wheels will steer slightly on bumps as the ends of the torsion bars can move around, letting the rear wheels point in different directions.

They do wander like ***** if the camber is out. The camber needs to be done first, then tracking.

Another thing, I know its frustrating, but when you fitted the pin, you did make sure the arm on top was pressed down firmly while the bus was jacked up on the pin as you tightened the clamp nut.
You want the wavy spring washer at the bottom to be providing substantial preload on the whole stack.
Otherwise the arm will go up and down even if it doesnt rock any more.

Yes Mike had trolley jack on bottom of pin and managed to get a large G clamp on the arm
