Steering Locks

  1. The 'Gray Grabber'! I need to work the branding.
    Spent longer looking for steering locks on ebay than it took to make.
    Added security bolts to the clutch and brake.

    Is the deterrent a gert great northern lump standing around doing nothing?

    Funnily enough I have two of those padlocks currently not in use. Please would you show some more pics of the left hand piece in your pic (cover piece) as I really want to copy your idea - if that's OK with you?

    You also have to trade off the fact that provided theres a flatbed truck length in front of your bus, none of these gadgets that fiddle with pedals or steering or ignition will prevent "recovery of a broken down VW" using the winch.

    ..whatever you gonna put on ur steering wheel or pedals always turn the wheels before..it always makes life for thieves harder

    Accidental bonus is that it touches the steering column, grounding it to the pedals so the horn sounds when you turn the key.
    A plastic motor bike disc lock flexi string up to the steering wheel highlights it.

    Flexi string is a good idea too - cos I'd never forget and start the motor forgetting the pedal lock :rolleyes:
