Steering column bodgernomics - column removal advice needed

That does look like mine - except the wire will have to go down the centre of the steering column because it looks like what I have is an early steering column (bloody parts-bin 73 bus). How much do you want for them?

 

Had some success with this - horn now works on the button in the middle of the steering wheel thanks to those bits from Mike.

I tried uploading a video, but sadly it doesn’t seem to work.

now I just have to get rid of the awoooooooogah horn for something proper.

 

A nice pair of Bosch Fanfares through a relay will do you nicely

 

You need the sad beeep of a stock horn. Can still buy compatible units.
