  1. any tips or pointers plan to get in in and started tomooz !! 1st engine iv ever fitted !!

  2. Put oil in it ;). Tidy everything up, tappets and breakers set. Plugs out, turn it over by hand a bit. If all's well, plugs back in, eggcup full of petrol down the carb, and go for it. Expect satisfying clouds of smoke ...

  5. As Snotty say's.
Make sure you got a good healthy battery or put battery on charge over night before hand.
Check accelerator pedal/cable operates at carb and is not holding/stuck open
Remove plugs and crank over, make sure oil light on dash goes out.
Let it stand for a few minutes, then repeat. Check around engine for oil/fuel leaks.
    Replace plugs and start.
*Might be worth having a Fire extinguisher handy- re chucking petrol down carb*

    Good luck

  10. Make sure you video it so we can all have a laugh if it blows up
    :)

  11. Make sure it's all wired up correctly.

Disconnect the coil and turn the engine by the starter and make sure the oil light goes out. This will show that you have oil pressure. Make sure you have the correct amount of oil in the first place. Type 4 so 3.5 litres.

Make sure all of your wiring and hoses, particularly fuel, are secure.

    Watch it for oil leaks.

Do it outside so you don't gas yourself.

Have a helper and a fire extinguisher nearby, just in case

    Don't forget to film it!
    :)
