no chrome bumpers or deluxe glass trim, one has a white grille..... more imposters? or probably just semi restored?
dunno tbh - middle one yes? the other two was on the website as champagne models, same as you say, already restored n the chromes gone. Bigrich posted the pic on facebook, I do like the piccie!
Only the one on the right is a Champer Camper. Not sure about the middle one. Phew! They know how to charge don't they... Still there's plenty of 'Sold' signs on the website so what do I know.
need to see closer, yes middle is a microbus deffo, it's poss the westies are but with new bumpers and respray, common as muck, think i'll paint mine marino yella
the 2 westys show as 2 litres, the one with the white grill has no door markers on it but as i say it's possible they have been restored but not correctly, what company is selling? anymore pics on their site?
here you go vwkampers.com http://www.vwkampers.com/classic-campers/ the one with the white grille is listed as an ordinary westy
man alive they are dear innit! dissapointing that they do such a good job and then skimp on bumpers and window chrome.
it seems they "rip off" limited editions look a silverfish.....ish http://www.vwkampers.com/classic-campers/1974-rhd-aussie-import-full-rebuild-massive-spec-ready-now-%C2%A310k-under-list-price-%C2%A328995.htm
They look great but £34k's worth - I'll mothball the westy for a few years n do a full strip down & rebuild if they sell for that much! I must admit the porsche seats look good too!
i suppose if they do a full strip and proper prep etc then they are better than a danbury at more money
