Sprout the double cab!

  1. here's my pride and joy. Sprout was originaly green and came from sweden. Forum member Fish may recognise him :thinking:

    he's going to be green again soon but we have a bit of work to do before the respray next year. :)

  10. cheers guys, but unfortunatley it's going back to it's odd green colour :)

    having a few stalling issues at the moment after a long run so this week I'm servicing it and checking everything is there.

  14. Loving the name- I hve just bought a 1972 bay from which was from Sweden an is also green (think they must love green in Sweden)

    Spoke to my dad said he stopped and chatted to you the other day in Worplesdon.
     
  18. ah! okay... I remember him well! I was helping a bloke who'd broken down in an old notchback. Your dad went off to get a condenser for us as he had one in his shed. he mentioned that he was messing with a pickup. I was quite happy to chat about pickups all day but the bloke I was helping was starting to whimper when the light started to fade hehe!there's not many people who would help in the way he did. I never did get the bloke running again, I just ferry'd him about for an hour or so and then he bit the bullet and got recovered.
     
  19. My Dad is that sort of person especially when it involves old VWs
    shame a wasn't with him i usually carry spares of everything in my Camper.
