Speedo cable - can I get different lengths?

right, I know it's not a bay, but I'm struggling, so hopefully one of you guys might help me out. I need a speedo cable for a gauge from an old Porsche 924 (I think). It's the screw in type similar to my T25 (I'm not actually positive it's the same but looks like it is), but due to where I want to put the gauge, I need one that's longer than the std one in my bus, by about 3".

Any ideas if you can buy to length or any vehicles you know use a longer cable than mine?

If you look in Practical Classics ads, there are companies that will make them to length.
