  1. I have been given this and was told it was a spare wheel bracket but i have no clue of how or even where it attaches or if it even for a bay? And if anyone is interested and it is no use to me it will be for sale as well ! :D

  2. Looks like a home made drop down spare wheel carrier that bolts to the bumper
I suspect its for the rear of a bus

yeah looks like one of them rear mount ones, think spongebob has one on his van similar to this.

  4. You can't be serious. Assuming, by the looks of it, the bumper brackets swivel all the way round, you would still have to unbolt it from the the top and fold it all down just to open the engine bay. What a pain in the nutz!

  5. Oh right that would make sense know i can see how it fit's, And yes baywatcher that would be a right pain think it will be resigned to the back of the shed unless anyone want's it?

  6. That might be just what I'm looking for to solve my spare wheel problem. (as in I have nowhere to put it!) Looks like it might need a bit of work to sort out, but I like a challenge.

  7. Well it only really need's rubbing down and painting and then some twist locks fitting to your bodywork to secure it, so shouldn't be too much of a big job, make me an offer or have you got anything to swap? just message me ;D

you put those catches with pins in the top so you can just pull the pin out to drop it down. i thinkg they attach to the tailgate too
