Is there enough going on to keep my family entertained for the weekend. Boys aged 16 and 13? Would love a trip out to Spa in my bus.
I went in 2009 with my Beetle (long trip) during the day it's mostly a yard sale on one side, and racing around the track on the other. There are so many cars from all over Europe, that you can't see all of them in just 3 days of the event. As far as evening entertainment goes, it's made to suit a single type of audience, I'd say younger generations. There's a tent with music which looked like a rave party to me (some kind of electro-dance thing). But it's not like you need it, just sit in the evening and watch the cars cruise by, it's like an endless parade of volkswagen bling. food is scarce, all I found were hot dogs and chips, but the town center is close, so if you get your supply's before 6, you'll be ok. All in all a really great event to attend at least once in your life, and I think kids will be entertained just by the whole sparkly atmosphere.
another tip is if you have an awning etc make sure you got hard ground pegs if u look t the plan on the site camping 2 is the only grass apart fromthe woods camping one is hard ground . agree with above plenty of entertainment up n down the road . also people tend to go a day or so earlier and peg off big areas for there mates .
