Dont know if best place for this one....... i have, well Daisy has the MOT next Weds. and due to what i think the issues will be have lined up, let alone the "tester" have booked into to "repair shop" and am looking at around 4 weeks work.... so do i have to SORN or not does anyone know? If you leave it taxed and insured no, 4 weeks sounds a short stay in a body shop, unless is straightforward (which it usually isn't) be prepared for longer. There was a scheme where garages etc were supposed to inform the DVLA about vehicle they had in for long term work so it would be sorb that way, but not sure many conformed to therule
