One of those songs where you know the tune but not the band..........read some of the 103 replies to the comments from the person who spent 2hrs searching for it after googling DU DU DU DU I find it funny as after spending several hours trying to find the song last week after my son hummed it to me I ended up finding it after downloading “Sound Hound” and “Shazam” and going to a quiet room to hum it so as not to look a prat.
OK, I'm going to put something a bit unusual out there. As a student I had a Danish girlfriend who loved the Danish band Gnags. Dancing round the kitchen in pyjamas making breakfast to this song is a nice memory. I can't pick all the Danish now as it's been years since I had it fairly fluent, but the last line of each verse goes, 'sodan gå jeg rund od tenker på dig.' which means 'this is how I go round thinking of you.' The chorus, 'det er den dejliste morgen i hundrede år og jeg liver' means 'its the loveliest morning in a hundred years and I'm so alive.' in other words, it's a total feelgood love song:
