Some people are very trusting.

  1. Yesterday I collected a car for someone, they gave me £6k to go and buy it. They never asked for a receipt or anything to say they had given me the money.

A while back someone gave me £8.5k to go and pick up a Mercedes for them. Again no receipt given and never met them before.

The other day I bid on a job on Shiply, I don't go on there a lot as people are happy to run around for nothing, anyway I bid and got the job. Pick up a Mercedes A class from A to B

I walked into Mercedes this morning and told them what I knew not a lot. It turned out to be a brand new unregistered car. They showed me the car handed over the keys and off I went. I never signed for it, they never saw my van. Shiply only have the info I told them, I could have lied and been anyone !! Bizarre

  12. People are too trusting. I was told a story last week. A chap had a builder doing some work for him. This builder hired a mini digger from HSS. Three days later a chap with a low loader pulls up and says he’s here to collect the digger as it’s the end of the hire. So the builder gives him the keys, digger loaded up, off it goes. A while later HSS call builder and ask why he’s not returned their digger. The guy that drove off with it was nothing to do with them and just chanced his luck. They also told me the builder didn’t pay for the extended insurance cover so I guess he was liable for the cost of the machine or at least lost his hefty deposit.
