I've got a Brazilian bay servo and master cylinder new unused. £100 plus post which I'd guess about a tenner? Based in Diss, Norfolk Thanks for looking
I would guess yes, but I've had this Brazil combo on my bus for 5 years without a problem. It would point it out on JK or Heritage if there was a problem mixing them up, but I'm sure you know that.
Thanks zedders. I just seem to remember something about changing the mounting for the servo? I bought an ATE mastercylinder. I think my servo may be faulty as I'm getting a bit of brake bind.
Veewee says...... Brake Servo for Vans from 1970 to 1979. Also fits all Brazilian Bays. Please note that when fitting to European Bays, the mounting Bracket on the Front Axle will require modifying!
Ah, well, that's not what you asked. The brazil studs are 1/3 off the edge of the existing bracket, were you to drill for it. Depending on your outlook you might want to widen the bracket slightly before drilling...or use fat washers, it's not going anywhere. I suspect you won't like either option. I have some brackets for the brazil servo because mine didn't have a servo at all, but for you that would be silly. So it's wonky holes welding or wallet.
I'm assuming as it's you Mark your pedal is all newly refurbished and the spring isn't broken and you're sure about the pedal gap I think it can only be the valve in the servo. As a last ditch effort I would increase the gap anyway and do some brake stamping and fast letting go stylee because I'm like that. You never know, it might be stuck and free off.
Chris, I'm not sure if I need to use it or not, assuming the servo will go on my ATE m/cyl I'll be happy to move this one on to you .....for suitable recompense of course
