I have decided to sell my well used Rhyas 135 Turbo welder as I have bought a lighter weight inverter welder to replace it.
Its electrically a generic Chinese welder in the style of Clarke smaller welders, with a rotary switch instead of toggle switches for power settings.

It is in working condition, wire feeds, solenoid operates, arc will appear

    It has 6 switched power settings (30 to 135A) . Can take 0.6mm ( gas) , 0.8mm (gas ) and 0.9/1.0 fluxcore wire.
It can take 5kg or the 0.8kg wire reels.
    It is fan cooled.

It comes with feed rollers for the various wire diameters.

Output polarity setting is done using terminals inside the wire storage area for gas or gasless welding.

It has had a Parker Euro torch conversion done on it so the torch is removeable/ replaceable.

The torch is included in the sale.

It has a gas feed solenoid valve added to it to go with the torch conversion, so would need a regulator and cylinder to go with it, it no longer can be used with the small disposable cylinders.

The towing handle has fallen off a long time ago.

    Price £100.
Can deliver to Hampshire/ West Sussex or Bristol area ..

I can also bring this to Techenders if somebody is interested in making an offer that I cant refuse..

  3. I bought a new TIG torch this week, and I just found out (about ten minutes ago!) it doesn't fit my inverter box (the dinse connector on the new torch is at fault).

So I am sorely tempted and I am going to Techenders, the problem is - the wife is too and she would not be happy seeing me purchase more welding gear... :(

Hey Coda, ;) could this possibly be the old mig welder that you lent to someone a year or so ago but just kept missing each other in efforts to get it back and this seemed the perfect opportunity to get your welder back to you :) Taaaa Daaaa:)

Ozziedog,,,,,,, doshing up prior is always a possibility so you ain’t actually fibbing

  5. Nice idea but I never lie to my wife :D

Anyway I got in touch with the seller today and he’s sending me a new TIG torch.

I still wouldn’t mind having a MIG but with arc and TIG I can get by.
