So.....Marillion.....who's gonna admit to liking them.

  1. It appears that I have accidently mentioned that I like Marillion.....see - there I have said it again on a public forum - my secret is out.:D

As such @earlybaybob has suggested that we set up a splinter group to see if there are other fans out there willing to admit to this. @Betsy73 has already stepped forward.

Therefore, we are now accepting membership requests for the - The Late Bay Marillion (No Honestly They Are Still Going And They Are Very Good) Appreciation Society - TLBM(NHTASGATAVG)AS for short ;) :D

If there is sufficient support I will look to getting some stickers made up - but they might take up most of the window.

So come on then, who's gonna step forward.

I'm with you Chillicamper. I rather like them too.

That said I listen to the music of Patrick Juvet and William Shatner so my likes in music should never be taken seriously.

  14. As earlier, I saw them in the Waggon & Horses, Mier.
And I can remember they were called Marillion, I can remember nothing else about that night, we also saw another band there, the name of which escapes me, but they did a song called Cock Rock Shock and the drummer was in a cage.
    Those were the days.

  15. Ah Common People by Mr Shatner, a classic, love it

  16. Not something I haven't heard before......still like em though :). They're less prog than they used to be, people still label them as prog though.

I've never pretended to be fashionable etc................I like what I like and I'm not really worried what anyone else thinks.

My latest musical discovery is Hang Massive - I like the hang drum - a world away from Marillion though!

  17. If it ever extends to liking Celine Dion, seen medical advice immediately

  18. Liked a few of there early stuff but not a fan as such, weren't they Silmarillion to start with, after the Tolkien book?

  19. Not a fan then?

I thought One Direction were competing for the title of worst band ever though??

  20. I've a few of their CDs when Fish was with them but I thought that they had folded. I'll have to blow the dust off them.
