So engine in what next ?

  1. Finally got many engine 1.6 put a new clutch and plate in all new bushes/engine mounts clutch cable and have now come to a halt as I carnt find any info
    on how to set up the fuel line for my webbers or any info with the same set up and then the electrics
    Just don't know we're to go from here ??? Can anyone help ??

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    Wires - there'll be a loom that will site across front of fan passing under the alternator. You'll see where the wires reach - first the alternator, then black to coil +ve and the longest on the oil pressure switch (green?).

    Petrol to each carb via a T piece.
    Double check the crank and alt pulleys are in alignment.
     
  3. So should do the electrics before the fuel lines etc ?
     
  4. Exhaust needs doing looking at the pic, i would do fuel lines 1st, dont want petrol every where, Keep up the good work,
     
  5. Yeah ordered the exhaust from vw heritage (vintage speed) still to go on

    Doesn't matter what order, just connect it all up. Leave the battery earth disconnected until last thing unless you need to test something, then disconnect it again.

    Have you threaded the accelerator cable through?

  9. Ahhh ok thats good then:thumbsup:

    Im struggling to see much detail in that pic on my screen
    I do like the look of that linkage though its very tidy looking

    One day i will have twin carbs one day lol
