Smoke detector

Anyone got a smoke detector in the house that doesn't go off every time you cook bacon or make toast.?

 

Yes, we have one on the landing upstairs and its fine - no problems with bacon or toast.

Mind you, we also have a cooker hood in the kitchen with 3 stage fan that tends to take most of the smells and fumes out of the kitchen anyway.

Love the smell of fried bacon why extract this gorgeous smell, they should bottle it and sell it as perfume.
Why do smoke detector batteries always go flat in the middle of the night and wake people up to tell them by beeping, beeping, beeping, need a drink.
