    Help please.

Im just checking over and sterilising the water circuit of the smev sink and noticed water peeing out from the white connector. Obviously it should be connected to something .. but what? Is it to drain to the outside or should it recirculate back to the water tank?
    Anyone know ??

  2. Is it the hot feed from a water heater perhaps (if you had one) as the tap is a mixer I presume?? Connect it too the cold feed if you don t plan on having hot water

  3. I think you're right. It is a hot/cold tap, I hadnt noticed. Thanks.
Question is do I cap it or feed it back to the tank i suppose.

  4. An update- if the tap is pushed to cold only there is no discharge from the hot pipe. But if its halfway between the two the cold water bleeds back through the hot water feed. I dont konw whats best. If I cap it there will be a dead leg with standing water in , which im not keen on for L8 reasons.

  5. Could you fit a y to the feed then it would just draw cold either eay

  6. I'm going down the blank route

  7. You would be better putting a tap on it so that you can drain it regularly

The correct way is to put a y on it and feed them both cold, do it with T5s all the time

  9. Sounds like a plan. Thanks

  10. I had the same problem on Tilly, fit a Y branch draw water in any position no standing water, reduced health risks.

  11. L8 - lol!
