Slight noise on rear

  1. I get a slight clunck every now and then on off side rear got new shocks to fit is there any greaseying points eg nipples which should be looked at if any

  2. perhaps do a "side" check fella, i.e. wheel and bearing then driveshaft/cvjoint, get it up (each side) in the clouds and do a visual insp. and pull push insp.is noise occassional or regular? like , is it on corners only? or when you change say up a gear and give it some revs?

  4. all four cv `s and boots are the same .

  5. What engine? My t4 tailpipe used to hit the bumper iron on take off. Also the front automatic gearbox mount still occasionally clunks.

  6. Reply based on my own experience only fella, yes ,mine are "sided" but only insomuch a cv joint has to be put on drive shaft end the proper way, on my own bus ,any cv joint fits either end.as regards parts, that"s a can of worms and then some ! (each 2 there own ") my 1st port of call is always GF&S, prices are good and imo so are the parts and advice given.GSF have a website.changing cv joints/gaitors is a straightforward enough job , thou messy, needing only a handeful of tools.there are fellas on here who will i am sure give u ALL the info/advice on your enq. specific 2 your own bus , give it a mo , the light it cometh ! hope this helps ! and as other guy said re noise>may be summit simple !(we have all had THAT experience!)
