Sliding door remote handle mechanism.

I've just fitted a Devon style swing-out cooker and am now thinking about making a handle operating mechanism that can be mounted above the top of the cooker cab so I don't have to grovel around to open the door.

Before I go reinventing the wheel I just thought I'd ask if anyone else has tackled this?

 

Westfalia did a mod to the slider inner handle for a while

Simples. Can you still buy the handle on the far right?
