Evening all , my sliding door drops down at the the rear by about a 1/4 inch ..it always has a bit when i bought it, getting a little worse now .
Looking in bentley there are adjustment at top and bottom rollers, but can't see how they can lift it at the rear .
I haven't tried any adjustments on these yet .
But just wondered if the roller and bearing ...and plastic guide block are worn to cause this on the hinge .

Anyone had this problem ...and before anybody suggests Viagra ...i have , and it just sends the whole door through the pop top . Thanx in advance . Ewan .

Has the nut come undone the one holding the rear slider hook on?

  5. Also worth having a poke around where the bottom roller sits in the sill , check the roller hasn't worn through the runner....

The roller on the rear track can wear and cause some droop replacement rollers are available but for some reason are a different design and worse. I was able to fit another 5 ball bearings into the race to get rid of crunchiness from new..

The bushings on the U bolt can wear down and cause droop - these are replaceable.

The four bolts at the back of the door can be loosened and the front end of the assembly with the big spring in it inside the door can be moved around a bit, both rotated and slid to push the back bit down.

Added together these can make up a fair bit of sag.

And if you find yourself having to slam the door hard to close it, metal fatigue can take out the U bolt.

There is visual play when you lift the rear of the door . think i will take the long slide track cover panel off and see if there is anything obvious ....like you say the wear all round is a joint issue .

You can often fix it by slackening the 4 m6 bolts that hold the hinge block in the back of the door on, then lifting the door a bit, and RE tightening the bolts.
