    I could have, bit not with a clear conscience ... We had it for free ten years ago, and it was in "direct sun" for at least ten years before that, so given the make and material it was only a matter of time before it split ...
    I'd rather have yet another project than cash!

    Funny buggers splinters ... One sat in my thumb for a few months making this groove in the nail, and then just popped out last week ... Waiting to see if the groove stops now :thumbsup:

    The one that wouldn't make it up Gold Hill was getting rather long in the tooth by that stage, and was probably quite well loaded! The 63 plate I've got now is well nice - the heated windscreen is my favourite bit! They're great trucks for what we need at work - only 3.5 ton so no tacho needed (just as well as I've just pulled a 12 hour driving day :oops:) Long flat bed is perfect for trees, but they're small enough I can reverse into an average driveway. Thumbs up from me!

    Despite all looks to the contrary, they’re not Christmas trees! We gave up selling those years ago, they’re a bugger to dig up with a rootball on them and they always die! The stuff in the picture is yew hedging plants, plus a load of laurel and some beech. Posh house renovation- it’s all being planted this weekend despite the apocalypse of mud on the site and the fact that the house renovations aren’t going to be finished for another year at least! Seems a tad arse-about-face to me, but there you go!
