yes proper old world world pub. nobody else was there.it did have a lot of charm.
one of my favourite pubs in derbyshire is three stags head. camping next door.£4 a night. or free in car park. don't ask for lager.dog friendly.

Not a pub like it anywhere.it really is like stepping back in time. 100 years.

 

A bit like Yorkshire

 

Another one which is interesting but in Staffordshire...is The Yew Tree at Cauldon Low near Waterhouses on the way from Ashbourne to Leek .
The place is full of old antiques ..pianola's and such like ...Beer not brill but worth a visit if you are passing .
