    Well the cupboard is only shallow as it sort of follows the curve of the van. Mrs Monkey wanted a mahoosive fixed bed and so it's important we maximise space. So we thought rather than mess about with cutting holes for hinged doors....
    I do struggle with the space taken up with the spirals that it folds into but as they're at the top, the panels narrow there anyway.
    The cross pieces in the first pic are supports for shelves that will run horizontally across the door.

    How robust it is we will see:rolleyes:
    It's plastic and so long as we don't stuff them stupid (the other side is the same) they should work really well. Little upstands along the front of the shelves will help and the heavier stuff can sit at the bottom as there's good space below the door aperture.
    I'm only taking 3 pairs of pants when we go away anyway so all the rest of the space is for the current Mrs Monkey's shizzle :eek::eek:

    That's foamy filler to fill the gaps and stop the boards creaking along with the screws ,there were 3 very near misses as well
