My godmother lives in Bracknell, but she’s awfully posh and kids on it’s the outskirts of Windsor.

 

I’ll ask her. She was a friend of the queen mother and her husband took a morning walk most days with Prince Philip, so I’d say yes that’s a given!

 

Has the work been started on the pub yet?

Ive heard a small distillery has taken over the pub and plan to renovate it & reopen soon.

 

I used to deliver to Sainsbury’s Bracknell in the shopping centre. Bit of a dump back then if I remember right.

 

It was a dump!

 

There was a tatty sign on the side of the pub saying that it the site of the highest distillery (in England or UK, not sure). But, the place look like it has been closed for a while, though I did see evidence of materials that had been deilvered for renovations through a window - so who knows when it will reopen.

 

let’s hope the pub opens sooner rather than later, used to be great on a sunny day!

definitely so! On a summers day you can see for miles. Sometimes it gets a bit too crowded and you miss the scenery trying to negotiate traffic.
