The Force is strong in this one.

 

There was one non-VW but otherwise the campsite was empty – the pub was full however.

 

Always wondered what this site was like as its under an hour from me. Having a pub on site or close by is a ideal.

 

It's a good site Zebs, recommended here.

 

Three days driving and an overnight channel ferry for me. I was only there for a one-night stopover on my way up to Aberdeen but it is a nice site open all year with a small shop and of course the pub. Not cheap, but no site in the UK is.

Up at my parent’s lodge in Cromer for a few days. Good trip in the van with working heating for the first time!


Only issue was the Speedo cable snapping en route so guessing speeds the whole way! New one ordered to my parents house to fit later in the week. Only thing I can think of that would’ve caused it to fail so quickly is that I routed it too sharply somewhere?

The speedo can get bunged up with grime. Mine broke two cables on the buggy. I completely stripped and cleaned it and lubed it with light oil. 3rd cable still going strong.

 

Nice part of the world, enjoy yourselves.

+1 Try pouring 3in1 down the tube.

 

Given how neatly you can put C/L on a Bay, that is world class bodgery...

 

The sheer raw power of a 1600 Bay can often cause the speedo cable to break
