Sir Richard gave her to London Zoo, he held the record until 1985

 

Another interesting fact, Clarissa and Mary another British Record carp both turned out to be male fish

 

If you take all the letters in Clarissa take some away add a few more and some numbers, it makes Chelsea Europa cup winners 2019, how spooky is that

Funnily, if you rearrange the letters in “Clarissa the record carp”, it spells “Come on, you Spurs”. Amazing!
