She's arrived!!

Morning, picked up our new baby from Cambridge on Saturday, had a great drive back and she never missed a beat the list of questions I have is growing by the second!

Need to clean her first! I seem to have brought every fly and insect home with me!

 

I'm not sure whether to ask each question as it pops into my head or put them all on one post??

Ask away, our helpful & friendly mods can always move the post to the correct section anyway ( I mean, it's not as if they've got anything to do really) >

Can anyone tell me what to use to wash the plastic roof? I haven't tried anything yet but am hoping for a miracle solution!

 

It's outside, greeny brown stuff, doesn't look too bad until I go upstairs and look out of the window!

 

jif is good on white plastic but may be too harsh there will be a very posh expensive alternate i bet !

My wife suggested jif but I thought I'd check on here first, the other option would be moving to a bungalow!!

 

You can buy caravan cleaning stuff that works. Mine was a state. You need a very hard brush and a lot of elbow grease.

 

After using silicone remover when replacing my vent earlier, I cleaned up with a bit of meths as per the instructions and found that it brought it up a treat so carried on over the rest of it. I shall probably go out in the morning and find that the whole roof has a "crackle" effect

 

I might hold on with the meths until you report back then!

 

i would not go for jif first just try washing up liquid and a cloth ( oh and hot water)
