We never discuss the engine , but I'm in Keswick and have been enjoying camping loads since leaving a certain mechanic.
How's this dishonest? The basic principle of the above is how capitalism works..... It's not dishonest if a person can't be arsed to research properly and is happy to pay the asking price - I would imagine it only crosses a notional moral barrier if you tell the buyer they are unable to get the part anywhere else - even so, the onus on them is to research properly.
Yep agree... the scene tax is high, but people will pay! Did anyone see an ad on VZi for a number plate? £1800 for T41 BST which the guy claimed spelt "T4 Beast"... think there was a few digits missing!
Poor joker, back only a day or two and you lot are already picking on him. That's one way to send him packing again. jeez
Overpriced bag of Marmitee. Its only a couple of years ago I couldnt get shut of a complete running turnkey CU. If I recall i was only after 400 quid for it.Too cheap perhaps but I didnt want to rip anyone off. Not everyone holds with your morality Moons. I dont want to live in a world where everyone has to pay top dollar for everything and cant give advice thats free. What else you got mate? Entitled to your opinion but I dont agree with you. I know most of you guys on here like to think your middle class and the general leaning is to right of centre and I like some of you but come the glorious day yer all up against the wall!
I cant blame my honesty and morals on camperjam as the organisers obviously have neither However im always happy to live and let live with fellow dubbers
For the record if were talking labels i dont agree with capatilism im more of a socialist i think Ive often being given labels for my approach to life by others but i dont label myself Ive got a feeling this thread is going to degrade into less than a debate of whats correct and whats not on our short cycle through life on this planet
Okidoke... Just as a footnote I'm fairly sure I'm not responsible for capitalism, it's a free market in so much as people will pay what they pay, or, as in this case, they won't. As for the role of the middleman/spotting an opportunity and exploiting it... then you can be on the train having to ******* out, or on the platform trying to ******* in, if people want to believe that businesses shouldn't make a profit or protect their intellectual property then they plainly have never put their balls on the line and taken a punt and run one.
