I know this one is quite feeble compared to Kruger and Paras injuries. But I've been sat in front of the tv watching the Olympics whilst soldiering some cable to LEDs. I thought I had unplugged the bloody soldiering iron so expected it to be cool, but alas like a right throbber I picked the sucker up branding my thumb and two of my fingers..... Hurts like billy oh. Sat here holding a camping ice pack Anyone else done anything stupid recently?
Yes used my petrol strimmer and left the spark plug insulator off and Yes it bit me in the side oh boy does that hurt and you feel such a wally as other people look on and snigger
was cutting a piece of exhaust very quickly as i was in a rush with a hacksaw and it slipped off and got my finger
That pic made me wince, finger injures always hurt! I've managed to stay out of trouble for a while now, but thats probably more to do with having my arm in plaster for the last 6 weeks :-
I wore safety gloves to avoid injuries similar to the above and let me tell you the mild chafing I had on my thumb caused me negligible discomfort for several minutes. What is the world coming to when safety gear isn't even safe?
