FOR SALE Selection of Type 4 tinware

  1. I've a selection of type 4 tinware for sale.

All could use a clean up and repaint.

    Price is £12 + postage a piece.

First up is some bits for the 75-78 US style exhaust/HE set up:

The rest is I think for any type 4.

Top covers aren't in brilliant condition (one corner rusted badly as can be seen in second picture), but should clean up OK.
These are £12 each + postage, or £20 for the pair.

Finally, not totally sure what year this is for. I "think" it's a right side heat tube between snail fan and heat exchanger, however it didn't fit when I recently fit my 72-74 style heat exchangers as the bend isn't right to get round the alternator. Someone might be able to tell us what year it's for or where it's for if I'm wrong about it! It was in a box of bits from a 79 FI engine so perhaps it's for the '79 style square port HX's??

Can be collected from Kidlington, Oxford, or will post at cost.

    Thanks.

  2. Also an under tin from the standard european (72/74 & 79) set up.

This one however has rusted away in one section and so would need patching.

    £8+postage.

    Thanks.

  4. What year/style are you after? I have the one in the first picture for a 75-78 US set up.

  5. mines a uk model cj code

  6. Sorry, don't think I can help you as UK ones never had the tins I've got.

@Paul Weeding makes GRP reproduction ones that would fit - see the first post on the classified parts page.

Hi, have you still got the top left tin and the bottom right one please?

  8. Hi @ghiahead. Do you mean top left, bottom right with respect to position on van or my first photo?

If photo (the two hear riser tubes specific to 75-78 US) then yes I still have them.

  17. @westy1 - yes they are off a 2ltr. I'll dig them out tomorrow and weigh them to come up with a postage cost. Just to confirm, its the two heat pipes that go up to the heater control flap pods that you want?

  19. Hi @ghiahead - sorry, thought I'd sent you a PM about that but can't see it in my sent messages list - sorry :(

Yes, still have the top cover. Needs a clean up and an paint, but other than that is very solid.
