SEARCHING FOR A BAY CAMPER 68 - 79

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourselves' started by charlotte, Jul 6, 2012.

  1. hello, I am on my second camper quest. I used to own a Devon pop top and I am after something rustfree if possible. I'm looking for something fab. Last wagen was a large project, i am after something that has had some tlc already, or fresh import ready to go, colour doesn't matter. I don't really want to travel further than the midlands to view as i live on an Island and work shifts, has anybody got anything out there. I am after full details and close up shots of the usual notorious body spots..... arches, sills, steps, seals, joints etc. I hope someone can help, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
    Charlotte :p :p :-* :'( >:D ;D :D ;) :)

While walking me dogs this morning I saw the only other bay in the village has a for sale sign on it, I know the couple who own it and it is mint. If you want any more info I could pop over and get some details. Sorry for the poor phone photo. Its near Shrewsbury in the Midlands.

  12. Welcome to TLB, Enjoy your search for a bus :)

  13. Why not 72 to 79 ?

Welcome aboard, i beleive he is wanting you to get a 1972-1979, because 68-71 are 'cross overs', crossing over from the 'early type to the more 'LOVED here style'
68-71 have a few gremlins like 1 year only wiring,& some imposible little pieces.
we own a 70 & over here getting some parts are IMPOSIBLE, where 72-79 are alot easier to fit most parts for, & you get disc brakes with smaller bolt patterns for the wheels.
