Hi guys, I have just fitted a rebuild kit to my 34ict's (empi copies). When I refitted the fuel line, I had petrol dripping out of the brass fitting that retains the filter. How do you seal these? There was no seal in the kit. There was evidence of sealant when I removed them though. Cheers, A
I just fitted a kit to mine and had no issues there. I did not have seals either - does the thread look knackered?
Threads look fine. I was surprised too. There was some solid red sealant in the threads when I dismantled them. What sort of sealant should I use? it needs to be resistant to petrol.
