i had to buy a oil filter today . Granted its for a harley motorbike.. The chrome one (which i could care less) was 21.99 . In dollars mind you The black one was 10.99. I found a cross-reference one for ...drum roll . 3.49 . In black Same company .Fram Exact Same filter .Same specs ,, but the others , box is nicer with a motorcycle picture ....scheme... When i bought my ironhead (i will post you some pics btw) the guy at the Harley shop said use filters from a 2CV, 2/3 cheaper than your local stealership. Which was actually his own shop
When I used to run my McLaren F1, tyres were hellish expensive, but I found I could substitute the rears for a twin wheel set up from a Mk1 Transit. It handled much better in the wet too.
I bust an interior door handle on my lotus esprit a few years back. replacement was sourced from a scrappy (vauxhall calibra) for buttons.. theyr'e quite expensive if you buy one in a lotus box.
