What about a compressor though? Theres diy plans on the net somewhere to make your own blaster like that one using an old calor gas style bottle Should be an easy thing to make for a man of you ability
Edit.....the first one, not the £395 version. I have that model of sand blaster. Cost about the same as the one in your link including UK postage. I made a cabinet and did all my tinware, wheels and just parts. I think my compressor is 150ltr and that did the job. The compressor charges the pot to start with, this takes a little while to get up to pressure, but with this head start it then keeps on top of the air usage. It took about 20 minutes to do a complete wheel and pretty much emptied the pot. If you have a cabinet or set up sheets around your bus you can recover the sand/grit/media but you have to sieve it well before you can reuse it, or it blocks the valve very easily. Also you have to have a very dry air supply or the media gets damp and clogs the valve. When it's going well it is a great tool, when it gets blocked it's a pain in the rear. I have to say It does run out of grit a bit too quickly and doing a whole bus would be a laborious task, but possible. I would say its perfect for parts and problem areas of your bus, if you are doing the whole thing.......good luck;-)
