  1. After a month of carb problems, finally we got Joycee sorted yesterday.

She was running great, then our carb sprung a leak. We bought a new EMPI one from gsf , fitted it but that leaked.
Swapped it then 3 weeks later that leaked. Got a no name, and that wouldn't work at all, wouldn't let fuel through.

Finally my mate gave me his off his panel van, (in for resto). it worked but chugged and tick over was rubbish.

I took it to Clive at autotronix yesterday. He replaced vac pipes, cleaned and re-jetted carbs, set ignition, set mixture and timing, on his rolling road, then did a road test. All this for £60 +vat.

he gave me a print out that i don't really understand, think it says she has 42 hp. ;D

She is driving like a twenty year old van again( she is 39). best £70 ive spent since last time i was there.

Really nice bloke, can't recommend him enough :)
