Its almost a year ago I took the van for the rolling road session

same 1641cc bottom end

twin 34 baby dells
4 branch
bluebird backbox

also changed the dynamo for a bosch alternator

How were you getting a higher top speed with less power last year?!

 

I have changed the wheels and tyres since back to 14" steels

 

Off of the rolling road...is there much difference,what with hills,wind,e.t.c.?
For example,do yo get to places quicker and is your fuel consumption much difference..?

 

Its a totally different van to drive, there seems to be more response when pulling away from junctions, I can drive up the same hill in 4th instead of changing down a gear.

The very first drive you could tell a difference straight away.
