Had to time me van at the side of the road in good clothes and with hardly any tools!! I have a new piece of kit in me bag. I took a wire, put a piggy back spade on it and attached it to the neg on the coil, I undid the live into me number plate light and replaced it with a connector on the other end of the wire I had just put on the coil and static timed it, I have kept the new tool for future use!!
I like that idea! I have a spare bulb and wire in the van to do this, but using the number plate light is just genius!
