RIP Niel Armstrong

Reports coming in that Neil Armstrong has died at the age of 82.

Thats one step for man. One giant step for mankind.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

I guess he's gone back where he belongs.

 

Technically it was 'One small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind'

 

He does say it right but because of the bad radio signal you hear it wrong

 

I remember that day so clearly, watching the landing while at school.

I love the request from his family for how they would like people to remember him

"For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."

 

Oh man, I'm pretty gutted by that, biggest hero for me growing up!
