Cracking pub rock band
Very sad news. I saw them in the late 70's at Hemel Hempstead Pavillion, all we wanted to hear was Do Anything and they ended up playing it several times as was the case with loads of bands that had a single hit.
RIP great band I saw them 10 years ago at a festival they were brilliant
I think I saw them, my formative years are a blur
Is the Pav still going? Saw loads of bands there.
I lived there until my mid 30's and used to see a band most weeks in my teens / 20's. I haven't been back for years but apparently it's been demolished and houses Council offices and a library. Shame for the younger generation really as seeing a band these days is an expensive hobby and usually involves travel, we had it easy just popping down to the pav and paying the equivalent of a packet of fags to see every band going at the time.
I remember Peel used to play them quite a bit in the early days.
RIP . They are a good popmaster question.
I have a vague recollection of seeing them with the 101ers and Dr Feelgood in the mid 70's.
