Discussion in 'Late Bay Parts Classifieds' started by Mattlad, Jan 3, 2014.

  1. I need to replace the sliding door lock mech as mine has been butchered previously.....

It's the main latch that the lock barrel goes into.

Anyone got one knocking around i could buy?????

    Thanks

    Matt

A picture of your current setup inside door and between the two lock bits would help. :) Or diagram of exact same type. I bet you could find one in google pictures.

  5. I may have a 653b although I don't know if this would be suitable.

  6. @zed

Good idea - I robbed this photo off JBA from jk forum - think his is the same year as mine.

    I just need this bit.

The rest of the mech is fine but some nobhead epoxied the outside handle on and i had to drill it out to get it off for the respray thus mullering the bejesus out of it - now the handle pulls out as i can't secure it to the lock body.

  7. I've no idea - I suspect not as is the way with these things - anyone know??

    Thanks
