Retro festival near Newbury 12 to 14th August

Best show I've ever been to ,there are some pictures on my thread " Holiday postcard " .There's one planed for Newark next year which I will book as soon as possible . Different music events ranging from reggae ,jazz ,blues ,swing ,rock and roll and other types .cabaret comediansetc .Car displays ,miltary displays good showers and toilets

 

Also ,helicopter rides ,stunt riding ,R V area ,folding camper area ,tractors ,second hand car parts ,junk but not very much tat.Scooters and a Mod area ,drag cars and plenty of food to choose from

 

I went with the Retro Caravan Club. It was a really good weekend away, my only but is they do need to be careful what they advertise, 3 sets of air displays was one, the Red arrows was a fly past on their way somewhere else not a display, and neither of the world record attempts happened, BUT I repeat it was a good weekend away lots of good music a good variety of things to see and do makes a change from the Camperjams, Busfests of this world.
