That pic from Kruger still sticks in my mind, now seeing it again has just reminded me how grim it was
Not terribly gruesome - and no pics, but whilst cutting the floor out of a mate's MGB GT, I realised rather too late that the cutting disc was not only cutting through metal but also the glove I was wearing. "Ooh, that's warm", I thought, looking down at the hole in the glove, and the matching hole in my hand below. At least the heat caused the blood vessels to seal on contact!
More grinding woes! I set fire to my nuts using a grinder, it was summer so I only had overalls and boxers on. I simultaneously noticed extreme warmth and the smell of burning hair, looked down and I was properly alight. Fortunately NO pictures!
Met Kruger aka puppet mouth, as named by my little girl after she saw the picture on here. He was lucky the scar runs across the top of his lip and is barely noticeable now. "Sexy mofo" might be stretching it a bit though
Woahhhhhh first time I have seen that Kruger! your a lucky man! I've had nothing that bad, nearly took my thumbnail off with a grinder but I think one of the worst things is when grinding sparks or weld goes right in your LUG hole! (and you dont have room to move around to get it out, usually stuck under your bus haha) It's amazing we carry on!
I remembered the "puppet mouth" tag! but "sexy mofo" is the truth, you just need to have delusion the vision and believe But saying that there are other scars on my face more noticeable that run across my forehead and into my left eye, and onto my nose, and left cheek, from where I went into a windscreen in a car accident despite having a seatbelt on, hence the nickname Kruger! from (Freddy Krueger)
