How easy is it to change a 4 into 1 header for another one Will it require removing all tin wear? Any tips gratefully received Type one engine Thanks
Easy. Remove the rearmost tin and you have access to the top head studs, and the lower clamps that fix the exhaust to the HX's or j tubes if you have them. There are only about 6 screws, plus removing any ducting and the foam seal. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
The only issue will be the ends on the old one will have learnt to point in the correct direction and line up with the studs. The ends on the new one if a Bugpak/EMPI (same these days) may be pointing in random directions.. Spanish windlasses and hammers may be needed....
