Removing alternator harness without removing alternator

I fried the area around the leisure battery relay (wires reversed) so I need to remove the alternator harness ideally without removing the alternator. Can it be done? Or is it easier to just remove the alternator and it's associated gubbins?

 

T4? I'd remove the whole thing, it comes out from underneath.

 

Yes, it is a T4. That's ok; just looking for a "quick fix".

 

The quick fix is usually what looks at first glance to be the long way round.
