I went over to the DVLA in Nottingham, took all receipts, MOT certificate, previous owners details & explained to them I didnt know what paperwork was needed. The lady on the desk gave me all the necessary forms, I filled them in there n then - handed some cash over & jobs a good un!

A week later my reg number came through!

  6. I asked the same thing when I got my bus. It's a bit of a grey area. I didn't bother in the end.

you get the reg plate as soon as you get to the dvla if you have all paperwork and payments etc, make sure you ring your local office and ask them what you need to take - take as much info as you can, you'll walk out with your uk reg.

  16. Rang the dvla on this the other day, they said they don't do it there and then anymore, they send it off and it usually takes 2-3 days to be processed before you get your UK reg.

  19. 20 % on the bus plus the shipping ( or 5% if u can swing it as rare, kingstown can do this for you for a fee)

plus all the various inport fee on top of the shipping fees, normally approx 350 quid from experience
