I’ve just got my weed eater beam bolted on and I’m starting the process of refitting everything. I’ve greased up the bearing on the beam and the spring ready to slide the trailing arm on and it won’t slide on. Any tips for getting it to fit? I’ve heard welding the springs together at the end can help? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Might have to whack it with a hammer! Is it possible I’ve put too much grease on stopping it sliding in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Use a cable tie to hold the leaves together, then, with a flap disc, carefully put a slight angle on the edge of the leaves to help guide them in.
Worked a treat in the end but had to encourage them in complete with a hammer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
