Am looking for a red original heater control knob (or even two) for a '76 late bay - the push on plastic type. Although I replaced all the cables my lever for the heat exchanger flaps is very stiff and the flimsey heater control knobs in the replacement set I got from JK isn't up to the job as the plastic is too bendy. My original blue lever works a treat on it, but the blue lever won't fit on that lever with the instrument panel in place. So, am looking for a nice solid original red knob - or even a pair to keep them looking the same. If anyone has one (or two) of them spare, please can you let me know a price including postage to Oxford. Am happy to trade my flimsey JK ones with someone if they want them. Thanks. Nick.

Thanks for the reply WillP. Yes I've seen some very nice (and solid!) looking ones for the earlier bays, but the only replacement ones I've found for the later bays (where there are two red and one blue plastic levers) have been the bendy crap ones like JK sell.
I've got a spare one, because I now only need two levers since the scooby conversion - one for the fresh air flaps (blue) and one red one for the heat to screen/feet cable. Mine's a metal one with plastic knob on, not plastic all over.
SCratch that - just checked the catalogue and realised mine are e a r l y b a y ones. Oh the joy of crossovers, another early part I've discovered.....

MCJ are supposed to be doing the stainless ones for late bays but he told me that 2 years ago. I think they'd be a nice upgrade.
