Hey all, Scratching my head at this one, wheel bearings have been replaced and installed correctly, offside wheel is absolutely fine. Videos below. Standard steel: Gas burner: I can't really remember what it was like before replacing the bearing it might of been the same. my plan is to strip the hub assembly again, ensure the hubs are seated correctly and no dirty or nicks in the spline which is affecting the hub, if nothing obvious I'm going to swap hubs over and see if the issue persists. Hoping it's something small, two weekends striping cleaning and replacing the bearings to do it a again would be upsetting Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
Have you removed the small bolts that hold the drum on if not you may need to as they can interfere with the alloy wheels
No I didn't actually. I might try another steel wheel then to compare like for like. I can't see any visible weights on the steel wheel so my initial thoughts was that it's on the *******, the reason for trying the gas burner. But cheers dude didn't realise that about the locating screws with alloys. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
That was my thought was it doesn't look like it's been balanced Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
I wouldn't imagine balance weights would have any effect at that low speed. Summut's not right elsewhere. Obvious, but is the wheel seated flat on the drum?
Well looks like the wheel was buggered, tried my spare wheel and issue resolved. And thanks for the tip with the gas burners the little locating screws will be the issue there. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
